MEET THE CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. SHARON PAKZAMIR

Dr. Sharon has a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of her patients through a holistic approach, considering the physical, emotional and chemical components of health. She has a strong interest in improving and preserving correct spinal health through Chiropractic adjustments, exercise and proper nutrition, assisting her patients to reach their optimal health potentials and live well and active lifestyles.

She offers a range of techniques including Applied Kinesiology, Diversified, Thompson Drop Piece, Rehabilitation and Soft Tissue Therapy, and gentle chiropractic care that is appropriate for all age groups.

Dr Sharon is a registered chiropractor with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and received her qualifications at RMIT University.

She also has her certification in Applied Kinesiology from the International College of Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. LAUREN O'DONOVAN

Dr Lauren began her career as a Chiropractor on the West coast of Australia, after completing a double degree of Bachelor of Science and Masters of Clinical Chiropractic at Murdoch University. Recently relocating to Hobart, Dr Lauren has found her roots at Align Chiropractic.

Coming from a high level sporting background as a child, Dr Lauren has always been in awe by the potential of the human body. She was fortunate enough to grow up under chiropractic care, through seeing the incredible benefits firsthand, leading her to creating a career which allows for her to do the same for others.

Health for Dr Lauren is not merely just the absence of symptoms, but rather being able to achieve what you set out to do with your body and mind working to the best of its ability.

Dr Lauren has a special interest in Women’s Health, Stress, Pregnancy care & Sporting injuries. She is experienced in diversified manual adjusting techniques, low force adjusting techniques, Activator, Thompson/Drop piece, Logan, SOT & soft tissue therapy.

Alongside adjusting, Dr Lauren takes a holistic approach to health and loves to incorporate home exercise and nutritional advice so that you can get the most out of your care.
Outside of work, you’ll either find her outdoors exploring what this beautiful state has to offer or enjoying the incredible produce of Tasmania that sets the bar high for every other state.

It’s the fine balance between Physical, Mental and Nutritional health that Dr Lauren truly believes allows us to live healthier, happier lives. She looks forward to taking care of you and your family and supporting you in achieving your health and life goals.

MEET THE REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST

JENNY CHIU

Jenny has a passion for creating a peaceful and supported environment tailored towards improving somatic health and wellbeing through remedial massage therapy. She has a strong interest in movement, bodywork and awareness between the body and emotions. With this connection of the body and mind, with a holistic approach, she started her massage therapist journey.

Jenny offers gentle relaxation massage, remedial massage and craniosacral therapy, combined with different massage tools and essential oils, assisting her patients release muscle issues and balance their wellness and somatic health.

Jenny is a licensed Remedial Massage Therapist and a registered member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia Association. She also has her training in Craniosacral therapy from Upledger Institute Australia. She is enjoying the journey of learning different approaches in massage to help her patients.

Olivia Page

Olivia is experienced in treating people from all walks of life: from runners and rock climbers to tradies and office folk. She is passionate about empowering anyone ready to make changes towards improving their wellbeing - because your body is your most important tool in this life.

Treatments can assist in neck pain, headaches, sporting injuries, whiplash, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tears, tennis elbow, lower back pain, sciatica, cramps, osteitis pubis, groin adductor pain, knee pain, rib tension and related breathing issues, some digestive issues, shin splints and plantar fasciitis. They can also help ease insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, muscular atrophy and general stress.

With an ever-expanding skill set, Olivia's treatments can include deep tissue release, trigger point, relaxation, stretching, joint mobilisation, jostling and tapotement, myofascial cupping and dry needling.

Recently having relocated to Tasmania, after running a successful practice in Victoria, Olivia is excited to build her client base here in Battery Point. MEET THE CHIRORPACTIC ASSISTANT (CA)

DARCIE KEIL

Darcie grew up in a holistic setting, surrounded by a family of chiropractors and osteopaths.

She has always been interested in wellbeing and physical health. From a young age she trained professionally as a ballet dancer. Her early training inspired her interests in pilates, yoga, and rock-climbing.

Outside of these passions, Darcie is studying at the University of Tasmania. She studies ancient languages and computer science. Nurturing her mind alongside her body.

When she isn't a friendly face at our front desk she is reading books, drinking coffee, and hiking mountains.
