MEET THE CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. INICA QUILLIAM
Dr. Inica has lived and worked in Geelong, as a Chiropractor for the past 20+ years and is now starting afresh, using all that knowledge and experience, to continue giving exceptional chiropractic care to her community here in Battery Point.
The inspiration for Dr Inica’s move to Tasmania is her new husband Drew, and as she steps into this next season she is super excited to launch into a brand new adventure.
After taking on the approach she currently uses (Neuro-Impluse Protocol or NIP) some 15 years ago, Dr Inica has found it to be her primary go-to technique for both assessment and treatment of her patients. “It’s gentle enough for babies and powerful enough for athletes.”
Dr Inica uses an agile assessment approach, which means she constantly assesses and refines her treatment during your appointment so that by the end of your appointment, your body is functioning noticeably better. She works with your body’s nervous system to ensure optimal functionality through gentle corrections (or adjustments) aimed at improving the communication between your brain and your body. This unique neurofunctional process is a gentle, focused, corrective approach that incorporates a range of techniques including Impulse Adjustive Technique, Muscle Compartment Syndrome Release Therapy, Thompson Drop Piece, Neurological assessment, Soft Tissue Therapy, SOT and Activator.
Having grown up in a family with 3 sisters and then having 2 daughters of her own, Dr Inica has a special interest in women’s health and family health. She is also an advocate of wholefood nutrition and lifestyle, although she can always be tempted by chocolate (usually dark these days) and some other “not so great for your health” choices. She definitely acknowledges we are all on a journey and loves to assist people in becoming better, healthier versions of themselves by making one healthier choice at a time.
Dr Inica is a registered chiropractor with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and received her qualifications at RMIT. She is also a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association and is in the process of completing certification in the Food Matters Nutrition Certification Program
Dr Inica can’t wait to meet you and get to know where you are at with your current health, to then help you achieve your health and wellbeing goals into the future.
